Vanity Apparel...my new favourite naked.

And it has begun!

Oh Christmas Season, how you want to rob my bank account.

Today, I went on an attempt to buy Christmas presents today with Mel and Jodi. Pretty unsuccessful. What I need to do is write out a list of who I need to buy for. That's my problem. I just need to be more organized than maybe inspiration will hit me when deciding what to buy for people.

There's always those people that you have trouble buying for because there's a WHOLE bunch of options. You know that person SO well that you can think of a MILLION things to get them. Now, it's just a matter of deciding what is worthy of being the amazing Christmas present.

Then there are those people who you are good friends with but still would have no idea what to get them because a) they either own EVERYTHING...or b) they are picky and don't like anything...or c) i don't know, they are just plain and simple HARD to buy for.

So either way, it's a tough call...Christmas shopping is like trying to find a perfect dress. Stressful and more likely than not, unsuccessful.

So there you have it, Christmas shopping mission #1 --- Unsuccessful.

The mission continues...

It's a Mexicano Fiesta!

This past Saturday, we celebrated the births of Matt Bacon and Jen Boucher, mexican style.
I gotta say, I rock a mean stache.

Melissa Lyon and myself heading over to the crazy fiesta...where we ordered a delicious pizza...although, as my roommate said, we probably should have gone to Taco Bell.

Oh My Technology!

I got a new celly! It's about time too! Damn Bell and their shitty contracts and their shitty cell phones that don't last the duration of a contract!!!
Now I am a Fido subscriber. YAY! And my amazing brother bought me the new Motorola Razr V3. and it's amazing!!!

Current ring tone is : Madonna - Hung up. (might change frequently - open to suggestions!)

I just spent like 4 hours playing around and trying to figure out the celly. Video with audio! Now, that's crazy.

Best of all - I don't have to talk on my cell like THIS anymore .....

That kick is for pushing me off the unstable milking stool that I foolishly tried to stand on. Needless to say, I have a nicely bruised thigh...and even more bruised dignity.

Fuck you cow.

Shopping analogy

Checking your exam answers after writing is a bad idea.

Especially when you find out that the answers you initially put down, but changed after second-guessing yourself, were the ones that were correct.

The feeling of frustration that overcomes you is much like this:

You see an amazing jacket in a store. The kind of jacket that you've been looking for for awhile. You know it's the one that you want. You think about it though and say maybe I'll wait. You go back the next day and find out it's gone. Well, tough shit - it's too late now.

shit, im an idiot! I should have friggen just bought it when I saw it...
exactly.
Moral of the story: Go with your first instinct

note to self: bring camera everywhere

Last night I went to see the Trews at the Wave. And I'll admit, I haven't really gotten into them that much before seeing them so when we were all heading out the door, I asked myself "Should I bring my camera?" Me being all lazy decided that I didn't wanna bother having to carry it around so I decided against it.

My mistake.

I should always remember to take my camera to a show. Holy shit, the Trews were incredible. Would have made for some kickass pictures.

But unfortunately, instead of looking at some pictures, you will just have to read this really boring blurb.

cleaning is rejuvenating

I spent my whole evening cleaning my room. And I mean, re-organizing everything. Taking all my clothes out of drawers, cleaning out my closet, changing all the pictures, kind of re-organizing. And it was damn refreshing.

Throughout this process, I learned something about myself. I have trouble letting go. I mean, I have so much shit that I don't know what to do with it, but the thought of getting rid of it just makes me sad. You know that whole "maybe i'll wear it one day" complex. Yeah, I have it bad. I also have the "I love shoppign for new clothes" issue as well. Which leads to a friggen large wardrobe and little space to put all of it.

But anyways, I think reorganizing your room is much like going for a swim in a lake. Think about it.
