I want expensive things.

One day I want to be able to buy whatever I want!!

Apparently, I have a shopping problem. Some may not be able to justify spending $375 on jeans, but I can. Call me crazy but I think it's worth it. I had a little debate today on the topic of spending that much money for a pair of jeans with the boy. I have tried to spend less than 100 bucks on jeans and my closet just starts to pile up with jeans I never wear. However, the jeans that I have bought that are "more expensive" are the ones that I love. By "more expensive" I mean over $100 bucks (parasuco, silver etc.), I'm not at the $400 jean spending yet. But I'm thinking that if I start working 2 jobs this summer, I will be able to buy some nice R&R's soon from Double Down.

Maybe I should lose some weight, tone up and become a runway super model? hahaha . yeah . right ....

Another MTV Addiction

Ahhh! Make it stop, the MTV reality TV shows are coming to consume my life. Well, I guess reality shows in general.

For my Reality Television course this past semester, we had to choose a show to watch religiously. She said to either pick a show that you love, or pick a show that you hate, so that you would have lots to talk about. So, I thought, well everyone is going to do The Bachelor, and ANTM, so I chose Laguna Beach. I had never seen an episode before and just went online and downloaded the whole second season. My first thought was that I was going to hate every minute of watching this show. And at first, I was right. Then something happened. I became addicted to it!! I watched like 7 episodes in one sitting and would re-watch episodes with my roommate while eating dinner. It was sad, it had consumed me. But I guess it was well worth all that hard work in the end, as I had to write a 12 page paper on it. So technically speaking, watching Laguna Beach was just my homework. WEEEE!!! Only in MIT would that happen.

So now, as I am at home with nothing to do, I decided to download 8th & Ocean. Another MTV reality classic. I watched 3 episodes straight last night and am seriously excited to watch more. It's about models who live in an apartment together, the girls have their own, and the guys have their own. They have to get modelling jobs in order to pay for their apartment. And there are twins!

This is what my life has become here, at home...wow.

But in other news,
MY NEW PUPPY!! Her name is Patty. Born on St Patricks Day. Wanted to name her Clover but my g-ma couldn't say it properly.

Goodbye Elder MIT-ers..or rather: See You Later!

The year's end.
Ends with tears for some. Jumps of joy for others. And apathy for a select few.

We celebrated the year's end with drinks, hugs, and streamers...oh and balloon popping.

Hell is Home

It's only been a day since my return home and I already cannot stand it.

My welcome was less than well, welcoming.
Already well into Round One with the parental.
And, realized that I still have almost a month left in this place called "home"

I came home to a lot of new things though.
New garage built with a room attached
New fish tank with the cutest goldfish (which I've named Nemo, cuz it looks like him and he spazzes out a lot)
And SOON, the newest part of this visit home will be arriving Sunday, a new puppy (which I've named Clover cuz he was born on March 17th)

At least Clover will keep me entertained for a while.

Depression Level: Mild.
T-?? days...
